A number of different legislative provisions deal with the treatment of vulnerable witnesses and vulnerable defendants in this jurisdiction. However, in the main menu various sections of frequently used provisions are looked at specifically e.g. The Criminal Evidence Act 1992  to help clarify any issues in their use.
